Sources told KNO that a joint team of forces including 22RR, Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police Sopore, 179CRPF personnel cordoned off Reban village Sopore. Reports suggest that forces launched search operation after receiving credible inputs about the presence of militants in the area. The forces sealed all entry and exit points leading to the area, it added. Door to door searches were going on and no contact was established with militants when the report was last filed.
